This indicates that IIMs are more likely to award grades over the years. Low-grading candidates likely had a less chance of selection.
Besides, not a single graduate in this report has secured less than 70% in 10th or below 60% in 12th standard; who is selected for the management course.
Estimate: The Data shows that as IIM candidates are likely to be successful compared to the rest of the Institutes. But if you are a candidate with less than 80% of the 10th and/or 12th and/or less than 60%, it might not reflect on your success in life but selection into IIM over other candidates for having more marks- it’s more of a long shot here. Therefore your chances are significantly less.

Likewise, other exams, such as CAT is an excellent route to reach your dream college. Here preparation strategy is wholly focused on accuracy. You have to be accurate to succeed in your exam. Now will consider if you are attempting 75+ in each module with 99% accuracy.
