It’s much more than a simple store, with many different wildlife dioramas that will astound you, and a huge aquarium! You’ll find all kinds of exotic taxidermy here, too. You’ll feel like you’re on an outdoor adventure, truly! And if you want to just relax, there’s a cafe here, along with kennels for your pups to take a breather in, while you do your shopping.

Hydrous Wake Park

If you ask us, this is the best among all the fun things to do when visiting Allen, TX; we knowingly saved the best for last. Have you ever went wakeboarding? Well, that doesn’t matter, because that’s not what you’ll do here; at least not with a boat. In Hydrous Wake Park, you can actually go cable wakeboarding; one of the only places in the entire US where this activity is available! You’ll feel the waves shredding beneath you while overhead cables pull you over!

And don’t worry, this is a family-friendly activity too, seeing as you can dabble in some beginners classes with instructors, before going on the actual cables by yourself.
