Drink More Water
Proper hydration is necessary if you want to lose weight properly, without damaging your body. Dehydration occurs when too much water is used up, and there isn’t any to replace it. Humans can usually last between 3-7 days without water (7 is an extreme).

You won’t be able to lose any weight if you aren’t getting a proper night’s rest. There’s no other way your body can regenerate dead cells and refresh you for the next day than sleeping, and if you sleep badly or sleep too little – it just won’t work.

If you want to lose weight and lose it relatively fast, you’ll need to sleep well (which shouldn’t be too difficult since you’ve started working out and as long as you go to sleep at a reasonable time).
Reduce the Intake of Salts in your Meals
Salt is basically fuel for weight gain. Too much salt in meals can actively increase your weight in a way you won’t like. On top of that, your kidneys aren’t equipped to deal with an immense amount of salt, and continuous use of too much salt can cause damage to them.
Be moderate; you don’t have to put a lot of salt on everything. Different foods require different amounts of spices, so remember Moderation!
There’s a Right Way to Exercise
In case you didn’t know, you can exercise in any way you want. Did you ever go to a gym and notice someone doing a workout wrong? For example, people often do crazy things when trying to lift weights (they either put too much or too little). Lifting something heavy that you’ve never lifted before won’t make your muscles buffed any quicker. In fact, you’ll just expose yourself to damage.
Be mindful of the ways you can do specific workouts. There’s a right way, and there’s a wrong way. Do it the right way!
